Lille “unreservedly condemns” the “cowardly and intolerable” attack by its supporters in Bologna

An incident which should cost the locals dearly. This Wednesday evening, LOSC actually travels to Bologna as part of the fifth day of the regular phase of the Champions League. A meeting which promises to be heated, while Lille supporters were attacked during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday by around 80 Italian ultras. Two lovers from the Northern club were stabbed and taken to the nearest hospital. In a press release, the Mastiffs “called on their public present in Bologna to exercise the greatest vigilance and unreservedly condemn this cowardly and intolerable attack. All our support goes to the supporters who are victims of these attacks and we wish their best recovery.” In the event of a victory, Bruno Genesio's men would move closer to the top places in the ranking.
