One hiccup but two good news!

By winning against , direct competitor for maintenance, ASSE won three precious points which allowed it to climb to 13th place with 13 points on the clock. A saving victory which places the Greens three lengths behind , current roadblock with 10 points. Focus on and now.

Rennes in the crosshairs

Saturday at 5 p.m., ASSE will travel to Roazhon Park to face Rennes. The Bretons are going through a complicated period, but the Stéphanois will have to be careful: their away record remains their main weak point this season. With just one point taken away from Geoffroy-Guichard, Olivier Dall'Oglio and his men will have to find solutions to break this bad dynamic.

ASSE stripped against OM?

After Rennes, ASSE will host Marseille, a high-risk match. The prefecture has already issued an order to prohibit the movement of Marseille supporters to Geoffroy-Guichard.

A match which promises to be all the more delicate as the Greens will have to do without Augustine Boakye, suspended for accumulation of yellow cards. The absence of the Ghanaian midfielder, valuable for his technical touch, is a hard blow for Dall'Oglio. Mathieu Cafaro seems to be the most logical choice to replace him, even if his irregularity could raise questions.

Two returns for the Greens?

On the other hand, ASSE could benefit from the return of two executives. Yvann Maçon, injured in the knee, should be preserved in Rennes to avoid any risk. Dennis Appiah, despite a nose injury, will probably have to continue as right back.

As for Mickaël Nadé, victim of a twisted knee during the derby against , the news is reassuring. While a break of three to four weeks was initially mentioned, the central defender could return sooner than expected according to our information. A reinforcement of weight if the player is indeed fit. For the moment, nothing has obviously been decided.
