Passing through the mixed zone following LOSC's victory over Stade Rennais (1-0) this Sunday, Lucas Chevalier wanted to address a few words to the Lille supporters, whom he applauded with both hands.
Lucas Chevalier felt very alone in his cages this Sunday, never really endangered by Rennes' offensives. He thus had time to admire the achievements of the Lille supporters, who notably began the meeting with a giant tifo, red and white, but also and above all the faces of great local icons. In addition to José Fonte, whose son was amazed by the immense fresco displayed, Lucas Chevalier (23 years old) was also represented. The latter, interviewed in the mixed zone, wanted to salute the work of the public on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of LOSC.
“I was at the top left there, it looked really goodhe smiles. Too bad there was a bit of damage on the right, but we must still highlight the remarkable work of the supporters. They greatly participated in this beautiful celebration”, he declared in the bowels of the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy.
Likewise, still in this festive spirit, Lucas Chevalier was happy to be able to meet the former glories of LOSC. He was also surprised to see that some of them almost thanked him for his performances: “I knew practically all of them. We were able to chat and, strangely, I could see that they were also happy to see me. Among certain players that I knew by name, nothing more, I felt a certain recognition. It’s something that’s really nice.”he told us, with a very big smile and stars in his eyes.
