Nathanaël Bai: “It’s not really trivial, they worked a lot. They already had the qualities, but they worked a lot”

On TV7, the Girondins de Bordeaux full-back, Nathanaël Baispoke about the content offered by his team, which is starting to show.

“Yes, the content is there. There are only good people, and the coach makes us work properly. Everyone has the same common goal. It just shows on the ground.”

He brings his stone to the building, notably with a particular placement, instructions from Bruno Irles.

“There are already a lot of races. Being placed inside creates an imbalance and opposing teams ask questions. It's a place that I like, as I naturally like being inside the pitch… It's something that I like. The coach asks me to go inside to cause problems for the opposing team, that’s just it.”

The Bordeaux full-back has the experience of his training, since he was French U19 Champion in 2017 with Jules Koundé et Aurélien Tchouaméni. Is he still in contact with them?

“I am still Aurélien and Jules. I speak regularly with Aurélien, less often with Jules, but I follow them […] Having been around them, it’s nice to see where they are today. We know they are hard workers. Afterwards, it's not really trivial, they worked a lot. They already had the qualities, but they worked a lot”
