Trapped from the start, the VAFC sinks into QRM

Surprised from the kick-off, VAFC ran behind the score all evening without ever being able to reach QRM (2-0)as part of the 13th day of National. Still very sluggish in the game, Ahmed Kantari's men, sent off before the break, went on to a third match without a victory in the league.

Limited content follows one another and is similar for the VAFC

In these snowy times in , you should not arrive late at the Robert-Diochon stadium. Under penalty of missing the turning point of the meeting, after barely forty seconds. Faced with an apathetic VAFC, who even almost dared to stop believing in an offside, Isaac Tshipamba was quick to take advantage of the error and mystify Mathieu Michel (1-0, 1′). Already not feeling very confident, the residents immediately worsened their dynamic. And if the scoreboard did not move until the last minutes, it poorly reflected the domination of the multitude of opportunities from QRM, which could kill the match even before the break.

The elusive Tshipamba put the northern rearguard through an ordeal (13′, 28′, 30′), while his teammates Belkacem Dali-Amar (11′) or Noah Adekalom (30′) narrowly missed in the finish when Mathieu Michel was not obliged to work (17′). And if VA moved punctually and timidly to the front with Makabi Lilepo (9′) and Julien Masson (27′), it was weighed down by Ahmed Kantari who was expelled with his deputy just before half-time (45+2′) , undoubtedly because of words little appreciated by the refereeing body.

QRM's logical punishment

The second act was not much different and a long rhythm was even established. Without forcing his talent, QRM created situations (50′, 58′) and resisted without trembling a VAFC that was too sterile in the face of a low management block. As a symbol, the Normans made the break on a last banderilla controlled collectively and transformed by Nakamaro Diallo (2-0, 86′), who played against a Valencia defense that was too easily overwhelmed

Limited by its chronic lack of madness, the bored club logically bowed given the appearance of the entire meeting. A second setback in a row in National, a third match without a victory, an eighth place in the standings and five points difference with the podium: VA will have three weeks before its next National match, at on December 13, to relaunch a machine seized. It remains to be seen whether Ahmed Kantari, on whom the pressure is increasing from week to week, will be on the bench by then.

The match film:

1′ From the kick-off, QRM appears dangerous. In a contentious situation for an offside, the Valencia defense almost stops. Tshipamba takes the opportunity to mystify Michel. (1-0)

9′ Masson and Basse recover the ball high. The latter serves Lilepo, who misses his sequence and was offside anyway.

11′ On a counter-attack, QRM creates a surplus in the area. Dali-Amar misses his shot.

13′ Collet is taken deep by Tshipamba. After a first disaster clearance from Woudenberg, Leborgne did not target his shot at close range.

17′ Michel relaxes horizontally on Sylva’s head.

27′ On an almost harmless ball, Masson tries his luck with a well-balanced half-volley. The ball narrowly misses the target.

28′ Tshipamba overtakes Kayi Sanda and tries his luck, narrowly missing the target.

30′ Tshipamba drops Woudenberg and crosses hard towards Adekalom, who misses his attempt at close range.

45+2′ Just before the break, Kantari and his deputy are excluded by Mr. Giorgetti.

50′ Adekalom takes the strong cross without managing to hit the empty goal. No regrets for the Norman, flagged offside. A few moments later, Lilepo hits too much in the middle.

58′ On a well-adjusted cross by Sylva, Buades makes a good return to clear for a corner.

64′ Venema tries to lob Patron but misses his move.

86′ On a collective game model, QRM easily plays against the Valenciennes defense. Forgotten at the far post and shifted by Adekalom, Diallo deceives Michel. (2-0)
