FC Nantes is looking for a new goalkeeper and according to several sources, the leaders of the Canaries have set their sights on Zion Suzuki, a 22-year-old Japanese goalkeeper who currently plays for Parma, in Italy. He could replace Alban Lafont.

Already on the verge of leaving the Canaries during the last summer transfer window, the 24-year-old goalkeeper could well be at the dawn of his last season in the Nantes camp. Aware of his need for development to take a step forward in his career, Lafont would consider a departure towards new horizons, potentially abroad or in a club with European ambitions. For their part, Nantes leaders do not seem to take this possibility lightly. According to several sources, the club is already active behind the scenes, exploring the market to identify a successor capable of taking over in the cages.
