a player trained at Stade Rennais rather than Rayan Cherki?

Liverpool, which is preparing its January transfer window, is interested in several Ligue 1 players. Interested in the LOSC striker, Jonathan David, as well as the attacking midfielder – Olympique Lyonnais winger, Rayan Cherki, the Reds are also reportedly eyeing on an L1 player frustrated by his situation.

Anfield Watch has revealed that Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation of Désiré Doué, the young Saint-Germain prodigy. Since arriving at PSG last summer for a fee of €50 million from Stade Rennais, Doué has struggled to establish himself and is frustrated by his lack of playing time.

Richard Hughes, the sporting director of Liverpool, who is a fan of Désiré Doué, thinks that the English club could offer him a more suitable playing project. However, PSG remains optimistic and is not currently considering parting ways with its young player trained at Stade Rennais. At least that's what Luis Enrique suggested, who wants to make Désiré Doué a more versatile player and above all a real midfielder.

However, if the situation of the native of does not improve in the coming months, Liverpool clearly does not rule out seizing the opportunity to recruit him at the end of the season.

Note that Liverpool is not the only club to be attentive to the situation of the French international among the Espoirs. As revealed by Jeunesfooteux at the end of October, RB Leipzig is keeping an eye on Désiré Doué, in order to compensate for the probable departure of Xavi Simons at the end of the season.
