Saint-Germain officially inaugurated the PSG Campus this Thursday in . If Ile-de- players have already occupied the premises since the summer of 2023, the club is taking a new step in its development with an ultra-modern training and training center. RMC Sport presents these exceptional infrastructures.

Launched in 2020 and after work estimated at around 300 million, the construction of the PSG campus in Poissy is now complete. The time has come to officially inaugurate this new setting. And for the occasion, many personalities will be present on Thursday in Poissy. Novak Djokovic, Jamel Debbouze and Nikola Karabatic and PSG legends will therefore discover the new training center made available to Luis Enrique and all the teams of the Ile-de-France club.

RMC Sport will be at the heart of this event with an exceptional relocation of the show Rothen s'ignée to the PSG Campus this Thursday. But while waiting to see several figures from the club appear on RMC, the general public can discover the incredible equipment used by the partners of Ousmane Dembélé and Randal Kolo Muani since the start of the 2023-2024 season.

59 hectares and 16 football fields, an “exceptional place”

Located just 25 minutes from the Parc des Princes, the PSG Campus is exceptional with approximately 59 hectares of land, including nearly 150,000 square meters dedicated solely to outdoor training.

If the pro group has already acclimatized well to its new facilities, all PSG youth teams also benefit from the PSG Campus resources for their training. In total, between 200 and 250 employees work daily in this training center with the main objective of advancing PSG.

“We, the stewards, have our own little habits. We put everything in place so that when the players arrive they have nothing else to think about other than training,” greeted Nacerdine Sekai, attached to the first team for 23 years, with RMC Sport. “Each department has its role to play so that training goes as smoothly as possible. What is pleasant is that all the entities are gathered here at the Campus. We all get to know each other. We continue to create this family. This which is very pleasant.”

Before getting excited about the infrastructure: “The campus is an exceptional place. We have good working conditions. It's exceptional for the players and also those who work around this team.”

A campus serving performance and training

By acquiring a state-of-the-art training center, PSG intends to take a new step in its quest for excellence. With all the teams and all the training gathered within this PSG Campus, management intends to develop the talents of tomorrow.

Upon arrival, the center installed in Poissy has nearly 600 square meters dedicated to the performance of juniors. Young players will also be able to benefit from balneotherapy pools identical to those used by professionals.

A training center, the PSG Campus also constitutes a living space where up to 180 girls and boys can reside during their apprenticeship between the ages of 13 and 19. A sporting and educational revolution since the PSG facilities also include three middle school classes and nine high school classes for nearly 140 students supervised by 27 teachers.

“The Campus allows Paris Saint-Germain to realize its new establishment project, making educational innovation an essential key to offering young people adapted and individualized education,” promises PSG when inaugurating its Pisciaçais center. “It aims to ensure access to quality education for all athletes and to promote lifelong learning opportunities.”

The PSG Campus committed to the environment and society

Created from scratch and after several years of work, the PSG Campus intends to integrate perfectly into the Poissy region. Beyond contributing to job creation at the local level, the Parisian club also wants to make its new center a model in terms of ecology and the environment. Nearly 30 hectares of the site will be dedicated to green spaces with more than 4,000 trees planted. Also note the creation of an organic vegetable garden on more than 3.5 hectares.

The pros already won over by a Campus where “everything is incredible”

Inaugurated this Thursday, the PSG Campus has already been part of the daily lives of professional players since the summer of 2023. A bit like Warren Zaire-Emery who spent a lot of time there to prepare for his baccalaureate or Luis Enrique who lived there for several months, the Parisian stars have already acclimatized well.

“Daily life on Campus? What can I say other than that it's incredible! We really have everything available on site,” enthused defender Elisa De Almeida for RMC Sport. “The infrastructure is just exceptional. The quality of the grounds, the gym, the spa, the physio room, everything is incredible.”

And the international tricolor welcomes the meeting of all PSG in a single center: “Being with everyone, having several categories together, it also shows the family spirit of Paris Saint-Germain.”

An excitement shared by Marquinhos, captain of the men's team, during a guided tour of the PSG Campus with the newspaper Le Parisien: “For me who knew the Camp des Loges, it must be recognized that the change is quite enormous. morning, when I arrive by car, I admit that I am still impressed by what I see before my eyes!”
