New relapse and twenty-eighth muscle injury for Renato Sanches (ex-LOSC)

Expected to start this Saturday in the cup, Renato Sanches suffered a new muscular relapse and will not be able to hold his place.

This is one of the bad news of the day. Fragile by nature, Renato Sanches (27 years old) was, according to Recordwas injured again when he was expected to start against Estrela da Amadora in the Portuguese Cup. This is his first relapse at Benfica Lisbon, where he already suffered a muscle injury to his right thigh in August. This caused him to miss 33 days of competition, until mid-October.

This muscular glitch is far from being the first for Renato Sanches, whose history sends shivers down the spine. Nearly thirty (28) have been listed since the start of his career. Victim of a second disappointment in Lisbon, the Lusitanian has only participated in half of his team's matches this season, and has never started in the league.
