DAZN thanks its star consultant

The DAZN channel had convinced Patrick Vieira to be its headline consultant, but the 1998 world champion is leaving the Ligue 1 broadcaster.

DAZN is a good player since a few minutes after the signing of Patrick Vieira as coach of Genoa was made official, the channel thanked the latter and wished him good luck for the rest of his career. From now on, and according to several sources, DAZN will benefit from the analyzes of Zoumana Camara, who will make his big debut as a consultant during the match between PSG and Toulouse, Friday evening. Just like Vieira, Camara is waiting for a coaching position, and in the meantime, he will provide DAZN subscribers with his analyzes which we imagine are very relevant.

It remains to be seen whether the leaders of the Ligue 1 broadcaster knew that Patrick Vieira was going to leave or whether they had planned to add a second consultant to their team at a time when DAZN is being criticized for a lack of tactical and technical coverage around the matches broadcast by the English operator. At a time when the number of subscribers to DAZN is clearly problematic, since we are far from the 1.5 million subscribers expected in a year, the signing of a star consultant would necessarily be a good point at a time when the channel subscription prices have finally become reasonable.
