Transfers: Mbappé makes him leave PSG, he thanks him!

Hugo Ekitike and Kylian Mbappé certainly did not have the opportunity to play together under Luis Enrique during his last six months at PSG before his loan to Eintracht Frankfurt in the winter of 2024 which led to a permanent transfer the following months. Hugo Ekitike subsequently dwelled on his childhood dream which was to wear the tunic of the PSG. Something done even though his Parisian experience did not go as planned.

“When I was very young, I dreamed of playing with my favorite players at Paris Saint-Germain. Finally I was there, but it still didn't work. You can’t predict something like that.” However, the new center forward of Eintracht Frankfurt has no regrets about his time at PSG. “I don’t regret anything that happened. I took with me the lessons I learned in Paris and I am completely different now. I have a lot more confidence in myself, I handle pressure better, I have more team spirit and I talk to people more.”
