“I can assure you that OM are clearly not happy with their start to the season”

In his show Rothen ignites on RMC Sport, Jérôme Rothen did not mince his words about Adrien Rabiot and his performances at OM. The former PSG player believes that the OM midfielder is still far from Marseille's expectations.

Jérôme Rothen pointed out the disappointing performances ofAdrien Rabiot since his arrival atABOUT. If he praised his last match with the Blues, the former Paris Saint Germain and AS Monaco player believes that the Olympique de Marseille midfielder is still far from reaching the level expected by the club Phocaean.

Rabiot has a style that matches well with that of De Zerbi.

“When Adrien Rabiot reached this level, beyond his two headed goals, he brings a considerable volume of play. It's already much better than what he has shown so far with OM, which proves that he is gradually finding his rhythm again. Technically, he was very clean, as usual. He plays at his own tempo, favoring slow progression and ball control, a style which corresponds well to that of By Zerbi. (…) With his international status and the level he displayed at Juventus, OM must find this player. If Rabiot does not raise his level of play further compared to what he has shown from the start, it will be a real failure. I can assure you that at the moment, Olympique de Marseille is clearly not satisfied with its start to the season,” declared Jérome Rothen on RMC.
