The leaders of ASSE are currently delaying the extension of Yvann Maçon's contract.
Since returning to AS Saint-Étienne last January after two successive loans to Paris FC then to Maccabi Tel Aviv, Yvann Maçon has found a starting place with the Greens on the right wing of the Saint-Etienne defense. But arriving at the end of his contract next June and still not having extended, the former Dunkirk player has an uncertain future.
ASSE is waiting to see if it can extend Maçon
According to our colleagues from Peuple Vert, who took stock of the future of Yvann Maçon, his extension, which could extend until June 2027, has not yet been confirmed. The new management of ASSE would prefer to procrastinate on his case for the moment due to his recent injuries. This season, the 26-year-old has already missed six games due to a meniscus injury. Yvann Maçon will therefore have to be convincing during the rest of the season if he wants to stay in Forez at the end of the 2024-2025 financial year.
