Seduced by Denmark, Iniesta makes a big announcement!

Iniesta invests in Danish football. After announcing his retirement on October 7, the Spanish legend embarked on a new adventure and took charge of FC Helsingør.

Newly retired, Andrés Iniesta is wasting no time. While he is currently completing his coaching qualifications, the ex-Barça midfielder has also chosen to take on the manager's hat.

In collaboration with the real estate investment company Stoneweg and Never Say Never, which he co-founded, the 2010 world champion became the majority shareholder FC Helsingør, a club in the Danish third division.

Iniesta won grand pour Helsingør

“We started working with FC Helsingør because they are an incredibly exciting club, with excellent facilities, a lot of good people within the club and those around it, and who have the potential to become an important part of Danish football”the Spaniard told the local newspaper
Helsingor Dagblad.

Since the start of the season, the team based in Elsinore has played 15 matches (5 wins, 4 draws, 6 losses) and currently occupies 7th place in the championship.
