hosts after the international break. A crucial meeting for the Artesian club which will notably have to do without several of its strong elements.

The Lensois, currently 8th in Ligue 1, snatched a valuable victory against last weekend. A match won 3-2 in the very last moments. If for Nantes, it is yet another disappointment, for the Sang et Or on the other hand, this meeting allows Will Still's men to revive after two consecutive losses.

It is now time for the international break before the arrival of OM. A clash between two teams with European ambitions, but a manager could miss this twelfth day.

Facundo Medina too fair for the meeting?

Indeed, the central defender from Lens was selected with Argentina to play the two qualifying matches for the next 2026 World Cup. But this was not initially planned. Lionel Scaloni, the coach, is faced with the injury of Lisandro Martínez. He then called Medina to replace him.

The club's number 14 will face Paraguay on Friday November 15 and Peru on Wednesday November 20 at 1 a.m. French time. But problem, the Artesian club plays its match against Marseille on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Facundo Medina will have little rest. So will Will Still call on him?

In any case, it's a question that deserves reflection, because in normal times Still would surely have made the decision to let him rest or put him on as a substitute. But the club's defense already has to do without two suspended executives. It’s a real headache that lies ahead for the former coach.

A big fan of Saint-Étienne, I still thrill every time I talk about the 2013 Coupe de la Ligue title. Remember… ASSE-RENNES final, we play the eighteenth minute. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, receives the ball on the left, crosses with the outside of his foot, and finds Brandao who puts the ball in the back of the net from the left. 1-0 for the Greens, the score remains that way. Enough for me to remember it like it was yesterday.
