Currently placed in 8th place in Ligue 1 after eleven days, RC Lens continues to be a tough opponent for the best teams in the championship. The Northerners experienced a fairly stormy summer transfer window and as the transfers of Kevin Danso and Neil El Aynaoui were canceled, the club did not achieve all of its objectives.
In the pace as in previous years for a European place at the end of the season, the RC Lens did not get everything he wanted this summer during the transfer window. The club intends to set the record straight this winter by getting active again.
Lens wants to sell
To put his accounts in order, the RC Lens needs to sell players this winter. Indeed, as reported The Teamthe club hoped to achieve €47M in sales during the last summer transfer window, but the objective was not achieved.
Goals not met
In addition to the sales which did not satisfy the Lensois leaders, the RC Lens was to reduce the payroll by €20M but as the sports daily notes, it only fell by €12M. One thing is certain, the market Winter 2025 should be lively for the Sang et Or with several departures on the program.
