The election in New Aquitaine promised to be close… and that was the case with the victory of François Grenet against Matthieu Rabby by 80 votes!

Only two lists were put to the vote this Saturday afternoon at the Palais des Congrès in for the election to the presidency of the League of New Aquitaine. Dominique Philippe's list had been invalidated because Dominique Rocheteau did not have an FFF license. Matthieu Rabby, ex-president of the District of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, and François Grenet, former professional player and former mission manager with the League, faced each other. And the vote was very close!

It was ultimately François Grenet who won the duel by 80 votes against Matthieu Rabby (2,762 against 2,682). A vote which nevertheless seems, according to our information, to be marred by problems with remote votes which were not counted. Several clubs have also complained about it.
