[CdF] supporters banned from traveling to Bressuire

What a surprise…

However, everything went very well during the last away meetings of the Girondins de and in particular in the Coupe de , where the Bordeaux supporters were able to “follow” the meeting from outside the stadium… But this will not be not yet this time that they will see a Coupe de France match away.

Indeed, as reported by Ouest-France, the Deux-Sèvres prefecture has decided not to take any risks with the conflict between the Ultramarines and the North Gate in the background, by issuing an order this Friday banning Bordeaux supporters from go to the Métayer stadium in Bressuire on Sunday November 17, where the seventh round match of the Coupe de France will take place.

On the other hand, as in previous meetings, the media reports that this match will not be played behind closed doors. Indeed, FC Bressuire supporters will be allowed to enter the enclosure to watch the match, which could accommodate more than 3,000 people.

This decision was taken following, as is “custom”, a security meeting with representatives of the local town hall, law enforcement, the sub-prefecture, territorial intelligence, the Federation French and Girondins de Bordeaux.

Once again, the host club, namely Bressuire, will have to implement (and pay for) heavy security measures to be able to welcome the public.

The Bressuire club also communicated:

“The match will not take place behind closed doors!
