Before OL, ASSE will rely on its fine derby experts

Some people from Saint-Etienne have experienced derbies in the past, especially among young people. The attackers' coach, Romain Hamouma, is also a specialist. Coach Olivier Dall'Oglio intends to rely on them before Sunday's match.

The Saint-Etienne coach is not necessarily impatient about Sunday and explains that each player is preparing for this derby in their own way: “No, I'm not more impatient than that. It's interesting to have had a long week to work and to recover too. The match will happen quite quickly, there is no worry about that. (…) The players talk about the derby regularly among themselves. They also saw pictures, they expect a party. It will be something different, we know that these kinds of matches are different. It's good to experience it. Seeing it from the outside is really different compared to experiencing it from the inside. (…) Everyone experiences it differently. We must not forget that it remains a match with points to be taken, there are tactics and discipline to respect. The commitment will be there, the pride in the jersey too, there is no problem. They will experience it in their own way, everyone is different. They will have this common event. This risks uniting the group even more. We need to have this collective, without that we don't exist, it will strengthen cohesion.“
