Timothy Weah (ex-LOSC): “I watch all the matches. I’m from for life”

Formerly of the house, Timothy Weah was very happy to be able to make his return closer to LOSC. He also predicts that the Mastiffs will have a very good season and we might as well tell you that he will follow it very closely.

A large majority of the players had already packed up in the bowels of the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy. The Mastiffs had barely left their enclosure one by one, the parade concluded by a trio composed of Benjamin André, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Aïssa Mandi, when the engine of the Turin bus was already roaring, leaving a slight smell of gasoline in the mixed zone. The Bianconeri were closely held by their staff, who had only allowed one individual to speak to the press. This marking was not enough to discourage the French journalists who were impatiently waiting to meet Timothy Weah's gaze. As at home, he stopped spontaneously at our microphone without paying attention to the instructions initially imposed: “It’s an immense pride for me to come back, it’s my homebegan the American international who saw some of the faces he had met in the past. I lived here for four years with all my teammates. I'm happy to be here today and to have been able to play against Lille. I'm proud of it »he admitted.

In Piedmont since the summer of 2023, Timothy Weah is still very close to the Mastiffs: “I'm still in contact with Angel (Gomes) and Jona' (David). I'm on the phone almost every day with Angel (smile). I watch all the matches. I'm very proud of my team, I'm happy. It's a very interesting team this year and I'm proud of everyonehe confided, once again in the shoes of a LOSC resident. Before the match, we laughed a little. I told Jona that we were going to win, you knowTimothy Weah tells us with a very big smile. I'm happy to have been able to see my friends again. I hope everything goes well for them. I'm still from Lille, you know, for life. »

Despite this unbreakable bond, the competitor regains the upper hand for the final words: “I am personally not satisfied with this simple point. I want to win every match. This evening (Tuesday), we saw a great team from Lille. This is just my opinion, but I think they will do great things together this season”concludes Timothy Weah in the mixed zone, before running off under the gaze of the Juventus press officer. The local journalists won. Mission accomplished!
