Something is broken for Dugarry!

Christophe Dugarry, former world champion with the team in 1998, recently expressed his dissatisfaction with OM's performance against PSG. It's not the victory against that will reconcile him with De Zerbi's players.

During his time on the set of Rothen Ignites this Monday, Christophe Dugarry expressed strong disappointment after the performance of Olympique de against Saint-Germain. The former international admitted to still being shocked by the defeat against PSG: “I am still shocked by what happened against PSG. » According to him, the success against Nantes alone is not enough to rectify the situation: “It’s going to take a lot more for me to rehabilitate”he added. Although he recognizes progress during the victory against Nantes, Dugarry remains skeptical: “I’m not excited. I'm going to stop getting angry. » He underlines that, despite the victory, the level of OM remains insufficient and still expects much more from the team.

A former OM player between 1997 and 2000, Dugarry also made it clear that he would no longer allow himself to be carried away by excess optimism. “I left with a lot of desire and ambition at the start of the season, but I expected better”he confided. He nevertheless recognizes that we should not reject everything from the start of the season: “You shouldn't throw everything away, but I thought I would see more consistency. » Dugarry insists that the team is rebuilding and that there is hope, but he expects more consistency and solid performances from OM against the big teams.


For the ex-international, Olympique de Marseille must still prove that it can compete with the best teams in the championship. The real test will come with the alignment of the typical team and the management of major meetings. Dugarry remains confident in the team's potential, but demands more convincing results to meet his high expectations.
