Leonardo at PSG act III, he thinks about it so hard

Former leader of Saint-Germain twice, Leonardo said it was unlikely to see him seek a new mandate within the Parisian management. Which does not prevent Daniel Riolo from thinking of yet another return for the Brazilian to the capital.

Will Leonardo return to Paris Saint-Germain one day? In an interview with Le Figaro in recent hours, the 55-year-old practically ended any hope of a return to the French capital: “It’s a story of the cycle, coming back a fourth time to PSG is perhaps a little too much. If we talk about a career as a sports director, my career in Europe is surely over”he clearly stated. The former PSG player was then the club's sporting director between 2011 and 2013 before seeking a second term between 2019 and 2022. It was Luis Campos, who took the opportunity to bring in Christophe Galtier as coach, who succeeded him and since then criticism has continued to rain down from supporters towards the Portuguese and his sometimes risky choices.

Riolo dreams of Leonardo returning to PSG

Obviously an admirer of Leonardo, RMC consultant Daniel Riolo continues to believe in a possible act three with PSG, despite his comments to Le Figaro: “Big deal, Leonardo’s interview in Le Figaro. Nothing crazy about it. But just the slightly crazy dream… what if Nasser Al-Khelaïfi became a tennis teacher again. If only he gave way to Leo! I know I know it's useless. But thinking about it made me feel good.”he published on his X account (formerly Twitter) this Tuesday, November 5. So, is it a simple wish or a presentiment of the journalist? The Parisian supporters are in any case starting to regain hope. Campos' overall recruitment since his arrival (Fabian Ruiz, Kolo Muani, Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler) was clearly not unanimous, but the former LOSC boss preferred to stay one more year. Unless Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, in office since the takeover of PSG by QSI in 2011, is suffering from weariness which will lead him to change direction shortly.
