Communication with Zerbi’s coach

In the mixed zone, Rabiot explained that he works closely with the coach to optimize his positioning in midfield. “We talk a lot with the coach about positioning with Pierre (Hojbjerg) and the third midfielder. The coach tries to find the best role for everyone”he declared.

Regarding his repositioning as a right relay player, Rabiot indicated that it was a strategic decision by the coach. “Being left-handed, I often played on the left, but he prefers a right-hander on the left and a left-hander on the right. This position suits me too, and we have a lot of freedom on the pitch”he added.

Rabiot also stressed the importance of collective rehabilitation. “A lot of players come from abroad, you have to integrate.
