The PSG continues its rise economically and presented honorable figures today. Indeed, the capital club positions itself as a key player in the economy of the Ile-de- region.

In collaboration with the Center for Sports Law and Economics (CDES), the Saint-Germain today presented an economic assessment resulting from a study entitled “ Economic impact and social utility of Paris Saint-Germain“. The latter aims to measure the impact of PSG on the Ile-de-France economy. Thus, the first figures released are those of €243M of added value, as well as €371M of social and tax contribution for the 2023/2024 season. The contribution of
Paris Saint-Germain to the total wealth of the Ile-de-France region has increased by 25% in 5 years (€182.2M in 2018/2019, latest CDES report) on this subject. The primary source of this creation of added value is, unsurprisingly, the organization of sporting events with €74.6 million. In terms of work, the PSG is also a real locomotive for the region with 2,379 jobs divided into 746 direct jobs, 291 indirect jobs and 1,342 induced jobs. Victoriano Melero reacted: “ Yes, yes
PSG has indeed become an international brand, its roots are here, in Île-de-France. It is here that the Paris Saint-Germain makes the most hearts beat and this is where he has his home. This is why we are committed to returning to the region and its inhabitants some of the support they have shown us for almost 50 years. With all the teams and thanks to the help of our shareholders, we have, since 2011, built a successful company, an economic engine and provider of jobs for the Region. We are also committed to being a committed company, with PSG For
Communities
which helps young people in the Ile-de-France region. Our efforts are highlighted by this study and I would like to thank the CDES for its rigor and the quality of its work.
