This summer, ASSE approached FC Lorient in order to recruit Mohamed Bamba. Author of an excellent second half of the season with FC Lorient, the Ivorian striker had not joined Forez. But the Ivorian press indicates that the Greens could go on the offensive this winter.
THE AXIS encountered great difficulties since the start of the season. Olivier Dall'Oglio's men are in a worrying situation and the leaders could therefore act during the winter transfer window to avoid relegation. The transfer of a targeted attacker this summer would once again be in the pipeline.
Bamba still pleases ASSE
Very popular last summer thanks to its excellent second half of the season, Mohamed Bamba ultimately remained at FC Lorient. But its future could be revived in the coming weeks. In fact, the Ivorian media 225foot indicates that he would again be in the little papers of the AXIS for this winter.
A €6M transfer?
Less prominent in Ligue 2 this season, Mohamed Bamba could therefore rebound towards the AXIS. Second worst attack in the championship, the Saint-Etienne club seems determined to act this winter despite the record investment in Lucas Stassin. It remains to be seen whether the transfer of Bamba will succeed, he who was already announced to the AXIS at the very end of the summer transfer window. Transfer market values it at €6M.
