Lens: Khusanov's terrible tackle on Hakimi, punished with a red

It was a very tense match between PSG and Lens this Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes. A few contentious decisions by Williy Delajod increased the tension during the first act, notably with a furious and warned Will Still on his sidelines, before lively exchanges when returning to the locker room. A tension which continued into the second half on the pitch with a few clashes between players.

Hakimi is doing well

And it is undoubtedly this climate which led to the exclusion of Khusanov. The Lensois defender, wanting to stop an incursion from Achraf Hakimi, completely missed his intervention by taking away the Moroccan's ankle. A Hakimi who did well without injury while Marquinhos did not like it by mowing down a Lensois in the process. Finally, the referee used VAR to decide to exclude the northern defender without this being questionable. A logical red.
