Holder of a Master's degree in sports journalism, I fell in love with tennis since childhood and have always loved reading the great stories of this sport. Today, I want to tell them about them, take full advantage of my passion and be as close as possible to the aces of the circuit.

Author of a great season with 43 goals in 49 matches, Viktor Gyökeres resumed on the same basis at Sporting Portugal. The 26-year-old Swede has a string of goals and inevitably, he attracts attention. PSG noticed his performances and while Ruben Amorim, who has coached the club since 2020, has just packed his bags for Manchester United, he is not considering joining for the moment.

With already 12 goals since the start of the season, Viktor Gyökeres has increased in value in recent months. The Swede is in the sights of several major European clubs since the PSG thought of him this summer. It would also be linked to Manchester United since his coach Reuben Amorim will take charge of the English team.

Root n'imagine pas Manchester United

In comments reported by Sky Sports, Viktor Gyökeres has been pretty clear about his situation at the moment. “Go with Amorim to Manchester United? I don't know. I am here. As you can see, I like Sporting. I don't really think about it. I'm sad that he [Amorim] leaves. We wish him the best” he declared.

PSG on the spot?

While his name was sometimes mentioned in the Parisian transfer window this summer, Viktor Gyökeres is still under contract until 2028 with the Sporting Portugal. The Swede has a huge release clause of €100M behind his back and PSG is not the only big club on the scene since apart from Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and even Manchester City would be interested.
