Since the summer of 2024, Thiago Motta has been the head coach of Juventus Turin. His adventure with the Old Lady had started very well, notably with numerous championship victories to his credit. But for some time now, things have been going less well for the Bianconeri. Juve remains three games without a victory and the first criticisms are starting to fall on the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder.
Thiago Motta behind Massimiliano Allegri
Juventus Turin has 18 points and is currently in sixth place in Serie A, largely dominated by Napoli who are in the sole race in the lead. But this assessment is detrimental to Thiago Motta. Indeed, the former Parisian is going through a delicate period in the Italian capital. The coach of the Old Lady would be behind his predecessor, Massimiliano Allegri. With the two draws in the last two days (4-4 against Inter and 2-2 against Parma), Juve reached 18 points. Five fewer than the former Bianconeri manager at the same time, reports Gazzetta. Thiago Motta will have to silence the critics by moving forward this Saturday on the Undinese pitch.
