Gyökeres, PSG's hope is confirmed

Viktor Gyökeres, 25-year-old scorer for Sporting Portugal (contract until 2028) and Sweden, has stood out for a while with a string of goals and assists. Unsurprisingly, this attracted rumors and Saint-Germain got involved. This Thursday, PSG Inside Act confirms a recent assertion: PSG wants to move forward and a transfer between 60 and 70 million euros would be possible.

« A radical evening a priority to strengthen the Parisian attack. »

“The Viktor Gyökeres case at PSG is currently evolving. The Swedish player is a priority to strengthen the Parisian attack. Although his release clause is set at 100 million euros, an agreement would allow him to be recruited for a sum of between 60 and 70 million euros.

As for player interest, it seems Gyökeres is open to a transfer. PSG will therefore have to wait and face competition from English clubs like Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.

A solution to avoid paying the clause?

From what I was made to understand, the Club would accept the sum of 70 million only for the summer transfer window (a promise that was made to the Swedish player), if we want the player for this winter, it will be necessary pay the clause. Unless we loan the player for six months to the Portuguese Club. »

It is possible that Paris will try its luck and that it really exists, but we remain very cautious. It's a very media issue, with a lot of assertions and very few concrete elements.

Gyökeres is a goalscorer who is finding his place at the high level and he could still improve. There is something to interest the biggest European clubs. The competition promises to be tough. It's hard to say who might be the favorite.

We can still imagine that the Premier League is tempting, in particular. PSG also has arguments. He also already has Gonçalo Ramos as a big scorer who should grow. Cohabitation would be surprising.

For the moment, the Swede is far from Paris. This could change, but there is nothing really moving in the direction of transfer. Apart from a price perhaps more accessible than the release clause. Except that this would be the case for all clubs and we suspect that the amount can quickly rise.
