Lucas Chevalier to Barça?
After having disgusted Madrid, Lucas Chevalier will he continue his career at Barcelona? It is in any case a possibility according to information from Reliefwhich indicates that Barça has made the LOSC goalkeeper a priority for next summer. While Marc-André ter Stegen (32 years old) will be convalescing at least until next spring after his complete rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee which occurred in September. And neither his performances before his serious injury, nor the number two Iñaki Peña (25 years old), reassured the Barcelona management to establish a clear and indisputable number one, while the contract of the returning Wojciech Szczesny (34 years old) expires next June.
First in line for Diogo Costa, the Catalan board would have abandoned the track leading to the Porto goalkeeper, considered too expensive (around 45 million euros). The estimated price for Lucas Chevalier is 20 million euros in Catalonia. A sum which should be revised upwards for LOSC for its 22-year-old goalkeeper, author of major performances during major events since the start of the season and again under contract until 2027 with his training club.
