On the occasion of a presentation of the latest recruits on Sud Ouest, John Williams mentioned the last one for the Girondins de Bordeaux, Thomas Trazié. The player is, however, not yet qualified since FCGB is still waiting for the International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
This 25-year-old player (July 1, 1999), of Ivorian nationality, measuring 1.72m, was without a club since his departure from Betar Jerusalem (even if he played in Turkey last season, in the Kasimpasa club), is a midfielder field which has already passed through France and OGC Nice. Indeed, he is part of Souleymane Cissé’s club, RC Abidjan, and therefore passed through the OGCN, but also another club in this “galaxy”, Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland.
Here are the introductory remarks of the man who helped with Girondin recruitment this summer:
“We wanted someone dynamic in midfield to have a different profile from Louveau and Depussay, someone who has gas in their legs. It is the 6-8 which will make the link between the defensive aspect and the offensive transition. He is capable of recovering balls and has a great ability to project himself. Last season, he played for the fifth of Türkiye. He is of intermediate age. He needs to show himself and continue in France. »
