Commission day for Bruno Irles

As you know, with regard to the judicial recovery procedure and against the backdrop of the social plan for the Girondins de Bordeaux, Bruno Irles initially became involved as a manager. The FCGB thus exposed itself to non-compliance with the regulations, namely: a fine of €1,500 per match, and potentially a sporting sanction (withdrawal of points), after five days played, was in the pipeline.

Since then, the French Football Federation, through a press release, had clarified, at the end of September, that “the Commission was aware of the situation of FC GIRONDINS DE BORDEAUX and the elements transmitted on 08/30/2024 and 09/24/2024. In view of the current administrative and legal procedures, the Commission decides to grant the club a compliance period of eight days from this notification in order to regularize the situation of its technical supervision in National 2 in accordance with articles 12 and 13 of the Statute of Educators”.

A few days ago, we told you that the situation of the Bordeaux coach had been brought into compliance before the National 2 match against Saumur. We can confirm that this has been done. The necessary documents for this were sent on October 8. It is now up to the French Football Federation to validate them.

Moreover, as previously reported by our site, the situation will be re-examined during the Commission meeting which will take place this Thursday, October 17.
