Mbappé and PSG, see you at 55ME in 24 hours

The case between Kylian Mbappé and Saint-Germain will experience a new episode on Tuesday before the LFP’s joint appeals committee. At the heart of the debates, 55 million euros.

Kylian Mbappé cannot escape the news, since the day after the Belgium- match, the Real Madrid striker is the subject of a legal meeting in Paris. Indeed, the cjoint commission of appeals of the Professional Football League will look into PSG’s appeal following the decision of the LFP legal commission which gave Paris Saint-Germain eight days to pay the 55 million euros that the capital club owes to its former player. A call which was therefore suspensive until this new meeting. From now on, either this joint committee will decide to confirm the decision taken at first instance, and then Nasser Al-Khelaifi will be able to carry out other actions, or it can refer the file to the legal committee.

PSG refuses to pay 55 million euros to Mbappé

If PSG must settle these 55 million euros in unpaid salaries and bonuses to Kylian Mbappé, then, according to theAgence France Presse specifies that Parisian leaders will have the right to turn to the French Football Federation for a passage before the higher appeal commission, then before an administrative court and conciliation before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) or go before the industrial tribunal. Otherwise, it could well be that this issue drags on, with direct negotiations between the Mbappé clan and Paris Saint-Germain never having resulted in an agreement despite intense discussions throughout the summer. And this despite the great pressure put on by Fayza Lamari, the mother of Kylian Mbappé, who had unpacked this file in the French press, believing that PSG had to come to their senses and settle what they owed to their former star.
