What is the value of Ligue 1 squads?

The football observatory (CIES) carried out a study this week to determine the value of each of the French elite squads.

The International Center for the Study of Sport (CIES) has devoted its weekly publication to the value of the different numbers of the clubs that make up League 1. Unsurprisingly, PSG are of course crushing the competition, with a squad valued at over €1,088 million – an average of €30.2 million per player.

According to this study, no less than 10 French clubs appear in the European Top 100. AS Monaco being the first runner-up to the PSH labeled L1, with an overall valuation of its talents at 425 million euros. Followed by Stade Rennais, Losc and OM, respectively credited to the tune of 321, 310 and 309 million euros for their entire workforce.

Across the continent, no surprise here either, Real Madrid reigns supreme, with 1.728 billion in collective value.
