Christophe Dugarry, radical change

Christophe Dugarry has completely changed his mind about OM president Pablo Longoria.

Christophe Dugarry returns his jacket, and assumes it. Not fans of Pablo Longoria at the start, the 98 world champion completely revised his point of view on the president of OM during the last words. On RMC on Wednesday, the former Blues striker said all the good things he now thought of the Spanish leader.

“I was very hard on him, recognized “Duga”. I felt like I had a guy who was making fun of me a little when he spoke or when he was off base. I felt like he was trying to confuse me. Afterwards, what is good about this gentleman since he has been at OM is that he is a man of conviction. He’s not afraid to do things. This is not a president who arrived just to sit in his presidential chair, and wait for things to happen. »

Dugarry: “I like people who admit their mistakes”

“The guy is hyperactive, sometimes too much, he continued. It sometimes went in all directions and was sometimes incomprehensible. But he came up with ideas, it’s already huge. He took responsibility, even if he was wrong. How not to forgive and how not to recognize when a guy says “I made mistakes, I admit my mistakes”? Everyone makes mistakes, even someone who is very successful in football, he succeeds one out of two things. And again… I like people who admit their mistakes, because no one has the truth in football. »

And Dugarry concludes: “ What OM has become today is rather coherent, it rather makes sense. I say bravo to his recruits, bringing in De Zerbi, bringing in Hojbjerg, Rabiot… I think there are things that are strong. Also convince its president to put money in, despite TV rights which have fallen, OM has invested a lot. This proves that his relationship with his president is of quality. His relationship with the sports director is good. His relationship with the players is perhaps a little tense at times, but that’s also the role of a president. Sometimes you have to make hard choices. We can’t please everyone, so yes. I want to say well done.
