Real Madrid, the incredible twist

Real Madrid have no immediate plans to sign new players for the January transfer window, unless a major injury crisis forces a change in strategy.

Despite Dani Carvajal’s serious knee injury in a recent match against Villarreal, the club remains confident about the depth of its current squad. According to José Luis Sanchez, as reported by Madrid Zone, the reigning European champions should avoid making any new signings this winter unless another significant injury forces them to review their position.

The club believe they have enough suitable options to compensate for Carvajal’s absence, with Lucas Vazquez expected to replace him naturally. Although some fans and pundits have called for defensive reinforcements, especially as Carvajal, David Alaba and academy prospect Joan Martínez are all out due to long-term injuries, Real’s management remains optimistic regarding existing options.

They believe the team has enough quality and depth to handle the rest of the season without having to rush to sign new players. However, if another significant injury arises, the club could reconsider their strategy and possibly explore the transfer market in January to strengthen their defensive options.
