OL bus damaged by PSG supporters

While taking the ferry from to Dover, the OL bus, which was traveling to Glasgow, was targeted by PSG fans. The latter damaged it somewhat.

It’s a mishap that reminds us of a time not so long ago. During the night from Monday to Tuesday, while the OL bus was on the ferry from Calais to Dover, then continuing its route to Glasgow, where the Lyonnais will play on Thursday (9 p.m.), it crossed paths with members from the Ultras Collective. Parisian supporters are also traveling to Great Britain, since their team faces Arsenal this October 1.

For a few moments, fans of the Ile-de- club took advantage of the presence of the Rhone bus to resort to damage. There is talk of sticking sticks and tags, nothing dramatic, even if the ship’s staff had to intervene before it went any further. The damage was quickly erased, OL informed us.

This episode of the bus takes us back to the final of the Coupe de France last May, when clashes took place, at the initiative of the Parisians, at a toll booth. A sad event which is in no way comparable with the incident of recent hours, but which will not contribute to the appeasement between the most vindictive supporters of the two camps.
