Through a long message published on his Instagram account, Ethan Mbappé confirmed his new injury, also evoking the dream which linked him to his brother in the Champions League.
It was bad luck for the Mastiffs, who learned today the seriousness of the injury to young Ethan Mbappé (17 years old). The latter, as Le Parisien revealed, suffers from a ruptured quadriceps and will be away from the field for several months: “I was injured during the match (in Le Havre)… and I will be away for several weeks. It’s a complicated moment for me because it’s the first time since I’ve been playing football”thus began the protégé of Bruno Genesio, confirming his condition through a long message published on his Instagram account.
Like the many elements on the floor in Lille, Ethan Mbappé promises to come back with the fangs, even if one of his dreams escapes him for the moment: “But once the sadness is over, I am determined to come back stronger. With the support of my family, my teammates and all the medical staff, I will put all my energy into my rehabilitation to return to the best level. Even though I won’t be on the field for a while, I will continue to support my team and work hard behind the scenes. My dream of meeting my brother in the Champions League is moving away but does not disappear… Thank you all for your messages of support, it gives me the strength to get through this period.
