The Girondins had a great time last weekend in the Coupe de France against Seudre Océan (0-5). So happy thatthey even allowed themselves to bring in the goalkeeper Over Mandanda at the end of the game… into the field. A fact of the game which is funny, in the first place, but which could ultimately have big consequences for Bordeaux, since it is simply forbidden to do that in this competition. Article 7.3 of the Coupe de France regulations says this: “When a club decides to include the maximum number of players authorized on the match sheet, the registration of a substitute goalkeeper, numbered 16, is imperative. » Over Mandanda did indeed wear the number 16, and he was therefore only allowed to play as a goalkeeper. What Seudre Océan certainly learned this weekend, like everyone else, since the District club lodged a complaintaccording to information from Foot Amateur. The FFF has taken note of the complaint made, and will now have to make a decision, which could go as far as eliminating the Girondins…
