D2F – D3: Set and match! Thunderous return home for LOSC, winner of US Orléans

It’s a victorious return home for the LOSC women’s section. After a victory against on the first day and a promising defeat against OM, destroyed everything at home (6-1).

The women’s section of LOSC found its audience for the first time this season, against US Orléans on the lawn of the Stadium annex stadium. After a spectacular setback against Olympique de , the Mastiffs had to resume their march forward. Suffice to say that they did it in the most beautiful way with a big victory (6-1).

A start in mastery

The Lille women started their meeting well under the eyes of Alexsandro and Olivier Létang who came to attend the meeting. In the first five minutes, they size each other up and test their opponent. They will even have two opportunities on combinations between Ribeyra and her midfielders, without hitting the mark for the moment. The Orléans half of the field was occupied in the first quarter of an hour. The actions continue thanks to Anaïs Ribeyra available with her back to goal to direct towards her side. This domination materializes in the fifteenth minute thanks to Namoie Bamenga. On an Orléans touchline, Lille press and the Lille midfielder recovers and continues at the edge of the area to find the small net (1-0, 15′). Anaïs Ribeyra and Julie Pian were close to doubling the lead a few minutes later, but were nevertheless defeated.

The Lille women continue to push against an Orléans team showing more resistance, but they continue their festival of opportunities. Roux, launched in depth, sees her ball cleared by the opposing goalkeeper out of her area. But in midfield, captain Julie Pian volleyed from 25 meters. The leather slowly enters the goals left empty. The Mastiffs then take the break (2-0, 26′). The Orléanaises will show a better face. On a cross poorly cleared by the Lille defense, Abidi takes it back at point blank range, not deceiving Beitz, who remains vigilant. After a big period of slump, it is once again the visiting team which proves dangerous. Well alerted on the right side, the Orléans striker takes a touch at the near post. Once again, Taylor Beitz closes well and pushes back for a corner.

The second period continues on the same basis as the first. After just a few seconds, the opposing goalkeeper was forced to parry following a point-blank shot from Haugou. But Orléans did not appear defeated and, as at the end of the first half, Taylor Beitz repelled a ball on target with a superb flight with the opposite hand. The Canadian knows how to find her place in the cages, until now occupied for many years by Elisa Launay, who left for this summer.

The Lille festival

Despite the resistance, Lille were clinical in front of goal. On an off-center free kick following a foul on Haugou, Conesa takes a returning cross with the tip of her foot. The goalkeeper is wrong-footed (3-0, 56′). The festival then continues. On a rapid transition, Anaïs Ribeyra is found off-center. In one touch, she scored a superb goal with a shot into the opposite corner (4-0, 60′). The Lille supporters once again raised their arms five minutes later on an acrobatic recovery from Bamenga (5-0, 65′). ‘).

Orléans sinks in this match, powerless in the face of Lille’s dazzling actions. On their rare occasions, the Orléanaises came up against a well-established northern defense or a Beitz on fire. On the other hand, Conesa once again found the net. Launched from deep, the winger sees her recovery find the side net (6-0, 75′). At the end of the match, Bamenga and Conesa came close to the hat-trick in turn, but the goalkeeper intervened. The visitors will still experience the satisfaction of scoring a goal. Traoré reduced the score at the very end of the match, in a slightly passive Lille defense in depth in the final minutes (6-1, 90′).

Yacine Guesmia’s reaction

Yacine Guesmia was a happy man at the final whistle. The big victory brought by more than satisfactory content allowed him to enjoy his premiere at home, in front of an audience that he is learning to discover: “I am satisfied with the home premiere. After two long trips, we were happy to be home. Happy and satisfied with the content and the result. The objective is to perform. Every weekend, we have to perform. Afterwards, at the end of that, I think that if we collect as many points as possible. We’ll see as the season progresses. »
