Haise does not know what reception to expect for his big return to Bollaert

Having left RC this summer to take on a new challenge with , Franck Haise will be back with the Bollaert crowd this Saturday, for the sixth day of Ligue 1.

This will be one of the highlights of the sixth day of Ligue 1 scheduled for this weekend. And it will certainly be rich in emotions. This Saturday (5 p.m.), Franck Haise will make his big return to Bollaert, for the first time since leaving Lens this summer for OGC Nice. It is as coach of the Aiglons that he will challenge his former club, the one he was able to install at the top of the league table and that he managed to qualify twice for the European Cup.

Haise “very happy” with his return

“I’m very happy to go there. I’m going to meet up with a lot of people that I’m very happy to see again, with whom I’ve had a lot of great times. There are a lot of people with whom I spent seven great years, including four and a half wonderful years with the pros,” he confided with a smile on Wednesday evening, after the draw conceded at the Allianz Riviera, against Real Sociedad (1-1), for the first day of the Europa League. It remains to be seen what the reaction of the blood and gold public will be when he meets up again.

“I don’t know about the reception, I think the vast majority know what we did for four and a half years. Afterwards, I’m not looking to do 100%, in any case it doesn’t exist…”, Haise simply replied at a press conference. While he had become the face of this RC Lens once again capable of playing the leading roles after years of struggle, he decided at the end of last season to put an end to his long cycle in Pas-de- to join the Côte-d’Azur. After five matches, his team is in 7th place in Ligue 1, two lengths behind Lens.
