After seven consecutive wins, FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick have equalled Ernesto Valverde’s record wins and are aiming for a new record.

In fact, Barça have won all their matches so far, with 7 victories in as many games, totalling 21 points. These victories were achieved against Valencia (1-2), Athletic Bilbao (2-1), Rayo (1-2), Valladolid (7-0), Girona (1-4), Villarreal (1-5) and Getafe (1-0). This allows Barça, managed by Hansi Flick, to equal Ernesto Valverde’s record from the 2017-18 season, having surpassed Pep Guardiola’s record of seven consecutive victories (2009-10). Now Flick’s men have set themselves a new goal.
Tata Martino’s record in sight
The Blaugranas are now considering extending their streak. If they beat Osasuna next weekend, they could equal Barca’s best ever league start, a record held by Tata Martino in the 2013-14 season. The Argentine had managed to win in the first eight games, but it was Osasuna, their next opponent, who ended this series in the ninth game with a draw.
