coach Eric Roy suspended for three matches by the LFP disciplinary committee

Following his expulsion during the match against last Sunday, Eric Roy was suspended for three matches by the LFP commission which met on Wednesday evening.

coach Eric Roy has been suspended for three matches after being sent off on Sunday during the Ligue 1 match against Toulouse, the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League (LFP) announced on Wednesday. The Breton coach was suspended because of an altercation with the fourth official and the central referee over a penalty in favour of Toulouse that he found unjustified, during the match of the 5th day won by Brest (2-0).

Balerdi’s red card remains unchanged

Among other decisions by the LFP disciplinary committee, the second yellow card received by ’s Leonardo Balerdi, which meant he was sent off during -OM (2-3) on Sunday evening, was upheld. The Marseille player was given a one-match suspension.
