Victim of a muscular alert on the eve of OL – OM, Moussa Niakhaté had to declare forfeit for Sunday’s Olympico. He had been the only absentee due to a physical problem since Saïd Benrahma had paid the price for a choice by Pierre Sage. If the Lyon coach had not been very talkative about the Senegalese’s injury after the match, he must have been aware above all that the forfeit had been a precautionary measure.
A group of 28 on the eve of the match
Asked about a possible absence of Niakhate against Olympiakos, Sage answered negatively. “No, Moussa is available for this Thursday.” Unsurprisingly, he was present at the training session on the eve of the match this Wednesday afternoon.
