Paris Saint-Germain unveiled its third set of jerseys this Tuesday morning. A pink jersey stamped Jordan adorned with a black stripe. “The alliance of Parisian luxury and sporting performance”, according to the press release from the Parisian club.
As is often the case, the jersey had already been leaked, so fans were not left out of their seats this morning when they discovered this new jersey, the third kit for the 2024-2025 season, the result of the collaboration between Jordan and Paris Saint-Germain. A pale pink jersey adorned with a black stripe “which symbolizes the alliance of Parisian luxury and sporting performance”. Pink was already partly present on the fourth jersey for the 2020-2021 season. The idea, at the time, was already to claim to be “avant-garde and pioneering” with a painted effect inspired by the Milky Way.
A jersey worn against Rennes
“Designed to transcend generations and genders, this jersey goes far beyond a simple match outfit,” the club explains this time in a press release. “It extends the energy and excitement of the Parisian summer of 2024, a period when the city shone on the international stage through its sporting performances and unique style. A symbol of belonging and pride, it embodies the desire of supporters and athletes to assert themselves with confidence, on and off the pitch.”
This third jersey will be worn for the first time by Paris Saint-Germain players this Friday during the next championship match against Stade Rennais, at the Parc des Princes.
