So there are the fans who are starting to get a bit fed up, who are taken for cash cows and it is starting to be complicated.”

“It’s certain that during a gathering of the French Team, the whole nation is behind its national team. So you’re there to bring together all your supporters, all your players. We’re all behind a flag, behind a goal. From the moment you make a decision like that, political, you divide the nation, you divide your team. Well, that’s not really the case because I think it was pretty unanimous with regard to the players, but you divide the nation a little. That’s not the role of the French Team players. Their role is to bring the French together, so it’s certain that it poses a problem at that moment.”
