Olympique de Marseille seeks to help its young talents progress by offering them playing time. With this in mind, Soumaïla TraoréMalian midfielder from 20 answould be about to join the FC Versailles in the form of a loan without purchase option until the end of the season.
A promising talent at OM
Arriving in summer 2022 from Djoliba AC I am Mali, Soumaïla Traoré is perceived as one of OM's greatest hopes. Despite his young age, the midfielder quickly convinced the Marseille staff of his potential. However, the fierce competition within the Marseille squad makes it difficult to integrate him into the starting lineup. A loan to FC Versaillesa club playing in the National (3rd division), would allow it to accumulate valuable playing time to continue its progress.
Downsize the Marseille workforce
