If FC Nantes is thinking of repatriating former PSG and LOSC midfielder Jonathan Ikoné (Fiorentina, 26 years old) to Ligue 1 in the winter transfer window, the competition could be fatal for him.
FC Nantes has further ideas to strengthen Antoine Kombouaré's squad in the transfer window. After failing to attract Amine Salama (Stade de Reims, 24 years old) to the banks of the Erdre, the Kita are indeed considering repatriating Jonathan Ikoné (26 years old) to Ligue 1 this winter.
FC Nantes already out of the race for Ikoné?
Under contract until 2026 with Fiorentina, the French international has already been the subject of a concrete offer from FC Nantes. Ouest-France confirms this information and adds that the FCN would not, however, be the player's priority, having passed through PSG and Montpellier also in L1.
-Towards an exotic championship?
A Fiorentina player since January 2022, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder is of interest to several other Ligue 1 clubs such as RC Lens, Stade Rennais and RC Strasbourg. The Qatar Stars League and Saudi clubs have not given up on the idea of bringing the French winger into their ranks this winter.
