Dissatisfied with the face shown by his players against Feignies Aulnoye (1-2), Pierre Sage preferred to look forward to the future of OL with the reception of Montpellier, from January 4.
The advantage with him is that he never minces his words, while being quite diplomatic. Saturday, in Valenciennes, Pierre Sage did not take it lightly when talking about the performance of his players. The coach assured that OL “had not been worthy” against theAgreement Feignies Aulnoye (1-2). Despite the qualification, the main objective of the northern evening, the technician regretted the Lyon face, while “congratulating our adversaries who were valiant”. But, it will take more to satisfy Pierre Sage.
“Montpellier skipped the cup”
Aware that this first part of the season was intense, after a first half which had already pushed theOL in his physical and mental entrenchments, the native of Lons-le-Saunier sees the winter break arriving at the right time because “it was time for the year to end.” However, the return to training will arrive quickly with a resumption set for December 30. A short break to recharge the batteries and head into this second part of the season which promises to be just as intense. “We will quickly return to training, and we will have the reception of Montpellier, which should give us a hard time, who missed the cup.” Really the impasse or a simple lack of talent? Because the MHSC was crushed 4-0 by the Puy Foot 43… Whatever happens, OL will have to show a completely different face than that at Valenciennes.
