Free from any contract after leaving Bayern Munich, Bouna Sarr recently spoke to Footmercato to discuss his future and his physical state, as he looks for a new club. At 32, the former OM full-back says he is in great shape and determined to play for several more years, despite a career marked by a serious cruciate ligament injury.
In his interview, Bouna Sarr expressed great confidence in his physical abilities, explaining that he no longer experiences any pain and that he feels in great shape. “I think that genetically and morphologically, I have no problem playing for a long time”he assured, before specifying that he is not worried about his longevity on the field. The former Senegalese international even believes he can continue his career until the age of 37 or 38, affirming that his current physical state does not suggest any problem in this regard.

Sarr also expressed his astonishment at certain clubs' reluctance regarding his age and medical history. “On the one hand, I can perhaps understand the clubs, but for my part, I don’t have that concern.
